I want to get an iphone but I do not want to change my verizon wireless service to at%26amp;t. Please help and give me any websites related to solving this problem. Just tell me if i can do it or not because i heard that you can do the same with a t-mobile sim card. How would this work? Verizon doesn't use the SIM card technology, so you can't do it . The reason you can do it with T-Mobile and AT%26amp;T is because they both use SIM cards. you are all wrong. my dad got a new blackberry for verizon and it does have a sim card. verizon uses GSM for world phones

You might be able to do that with T-mobile but not Verizon since they do not use SIM card. Just switch to AT%26amp;T and port the number. I have an iPhone and it's great! If you get an unlocked phone you can use it with any service! You can get them unlocked on ebay! or i think Amazon or something like that

Well there are some problems there.



1. Unless you get a TurboSIM the iPhone 3G is locked at AT%26amp;T.

2. Verizon is a CDMA carrier. AT%26amp;T is a GSM carrier. The iPhone 3G is a GSM phone.
