Just call your service provider and inform that that you have lost your sim card. they will you to go to one of their stores to get a new sim, which you need to pay for and to keep your same number you will need to do a swim swap. make sure to take your purchase documents with you and id for proof that it is actually yours.

Hi guys....I got a Nokia cell thru Tracphone a few months back, then came across a MUCH cheaper company (Net10) who also uses a Nokia. I bought a phone thru Net10 then was wondering what I should do with the Nokia I got thru Tracphone lol.
So got to wondering if I could use the old Nokia as a 2nd phone thru Net10. But how would I go about that? Do I need to change the SIM card if I chanage companies? Or can I just go down and buy the Net10 fill card and just enter it on the old phone and then it would automatically switch over???

nokia 6300 has the latest firmware, v05.50, before holding key does switch to silence profile, but now it changes to sim card line 2, which is not even in use.

I am full of gadgets and honestly i'm sick of it. i had 5 sim cards always change regularly cause my parents are freaking overprotected when a stranger calls and they know it they will soon change my sim why??? cause what they want is only them to call so does only relatives other than that none and non one can call me (guys i'm not a girl to be protected come on!!) ,
I can't play loud music in home since they say don't i am bored locking in the home!!! all i do is take a bath everyday , go to school , back home swimming , and what else look at balcony come on!!! then sleep? or play PS3 all time? i just want to go out myself or play loud music for fun in MY OWN ROOM!!! WTH

All unhappy people have some way to reach their happiness. Join in sme music classes or something which u r interested in and start enjoying ur life inside that strict atmosphere. I still think you are not fully prepared to leave your house. The only thing you are gonna get from running away is your parents getting worried, punishing you and on top of that being more over protective.
Have you tried talking to them? maybe on a weekend or when your dad is back home? and note that i said %26quot;talking%26quot; if you start screaming and shouting at them, they will only think you are an spoiled brat and will shout back and won't try to even understand you at all.
You can start by telling them you feel oppressed, that you are not happy with the life they are providing you. That you want and need to make new friends, other than your siblings. Tell them that you have your own personality and that you want to choose your own clothes, your own things that represent you and give you character. Of course they are worried something might happen to you and yes probably they are over protective, but try to understand them a bit. They call you because they are afraid of loosing you. My mom calls me every time I'm out and I'm 22, I even call her telling her %26quot;mom I'm leaving the place, I'm heading home%26quot; just to not worry her, it doesn't cost a thing to call her and tell her where I am.
A solution to your loud music is wear headphones, but also take care of your ears when you get old you will be deaf.

I have a cell phone i have had it for about 3 months now, and i didn't have it for about a week, and i noticed about a week later it didnt have a sim card in it, and I was wondering if that's bad or did someone remove it or something, and will anything change now, or be different, because i tried to record something the other day on it and it said insert the card. Does anyone know who to Unlock a Motorola C139 Tracfone so that i can use my Cingular Sim card?
I have a Cingular (old AT%26amp;T phone/SIM) and the phone is pretty much destroyed. I can't get ahold of any old AT%26amp;T devices, so I bought a Tracfone (prepaid). It's a Motorla C139. Can anyone tell me how to Unlock this tracfone so I can use my Cingular Sim and cingular account. I'm waiting until there is a madatory equipment change and Cingular forces me to %26quot;upgrade%26quot; to an actual cingular account and plan. lol...trac phones are basically unlockable...No way that trac is going to give you the unlocking code and very very very very few third party unlocking services will unlock them....Does anyone know who to Unlock a Motorola C139 Tracfone so that i can use my Cingular Sim card?

but the problem is, after you unlock them, the prepaid minutes counter still works, so, if you have zero airtime, u will not be able to place or receive calls

Sidekick 2 sim card?
i have a sidekick 2, and just out of nowhere it decided to hate me and not work. the phone works and everything, but when i turn it on it says %26quot;SIM%26quot; up in the top where it normally give you service bars and whatever. but i tried taking my sim card out and nothing changed. anyone know what's wrong or how i can fix it? i haaate tmobile right about now.Sidekick 2 sim card?

I've got the same phone although with a different service provider because I'm in Australia.
But the same thing happens to me,
Its usually after I go to 'Aeroplane Mode' and turn the wireless setting off.
And then when I go to turn it back on, the error message of 'SIM' will just be in the top right hand corner.
It stays there until the reception is good, and the service has been found and then it will ask you to type in your sim pin.
So two things I suggest you do;
- turn wireless off, then back on again.
- try changing your sim pin.

AT&T sim card not working in AT&T phones?
I had a contract with AT%26amp;T which has now expired, so this is how i got my phone (LG Xenon). well I wanted another number (meaning another sim card) so I could let my mother use the once contracted sim card in my other phone i have (Iphone) and i could just use a prepaid sim card in my xenon. So i went and bought a cheap go phone, just for the sim card, and activated it. The sim card will only work in the phone it came with, not in my xenon, Iphone, nor a friends samsung ,who buy the way has a AT%26amp;T prepaid sim card too (whos sim card will work in both of my phones). When the sim card is in either phone signal bars will be displayed, but in the Iphone when I try and make a call or txt, it says it can't connect to the network. And for the Xenon when I try to open my contacts it says 'sim card not ready' and when i try to either write a message or open my inbox it says 'sim card initalizing...%26quot;
I've restarted the phone, even taken the sim card out, but nothing changes. I don't want to be stuck with a cheap go phone when I should be able to just switch the sim card. And I don't think the phone is locked because it's not like I'm trying to use a different network's sim card.

Have them transfer the contents of the orange/white crap sim to the regular good one so you don't have to wait six months.

I've got this phone I need to sell and my client says that it won't work here because of the frequency or something. Select Front Display (2)
Select Wallpaper (1)
Highlight Clock, using the navigation keys
Press the left soft key for Options
Select Edit (2) to change the clock types
Press the left soft key for Options
Select Save (1) to save the current clock type as the Front Display wallpaper
Highlight My Image, using the navigation keys

To send a picture message, to anyone with a compatible device, follow the steps below:
While in standby mode, press the left soft key for Menu
Select My Stuff
Select Graphics
Highlight the desired photo to be sent, using the navigation keys
Press the left soft key for Options
Select Send Via (2)
Select either Messages (1) or Bluetooth (2)
Enter the phone number, using the keypad, or press the left soft key for Options
Select Add Recipients (1)
Select from the following recipients options:
Recent Log (1)
Contacts (2)
Groups (3)
Select the desired recipients to send the picture message, using the navigation keys
Press the center navigation button to check the box(es) of recipient(s) to add
Press the left soft key for Add
After adding all recipients, press the right soft key for Send To
Press the right soft key to Send the picture message to the recipients

I was given a cell phone for Christmas, which I really appreciate, and recently it's gotten busted in the wash so I got a new one yesterday. The phone broke but I still have the same sim card, which means I have the same number and data and stuff. However, the new phone came with a new sim card. If I install the new sim card, will I have a new number? I'm wondering because the phone was bought in DC but I live in Maryland, so the area code is different. If I take out my current card, will my plan stay the same with the new one? Will I damage the new card or the old one if I take them out? How will this affect my plan?
