I want to change my sim card but keep the phone number i have now... how do i do this?

My brother said i need to phone up the o2 people (my new sim cards o2) but I'd prefer not to have to phone someone

You have to ring up you current Sim company and ask for a code you need to change your number. If you ring the automatic menu and Select the option 'if you are thinking of leaving us'



When you get through to someone explain the situation and they will give you the code you need.



Once you have got this code you then need to ring o2 and say you want to keep your old number, they will then ask for this code.



It usually takes around 7days for o2 to change your number.

go to the o2 website there is an option to keep your number and click on it it should work though if not you will have to call them and ask it should only take about 24 -48 hours to transfer through
