It can be simple to transfer data from one SIM card to another if you have the right gadget. I bought my kids a small device which will store all your numbers and which can then be used to download them onto a new SIM. It is a bit like a memory stick and very useful to have as my daughter found out when her phone was stolen.

Most phone shops will have them and they are not expensive but very useful. I did find, however, that if your provider is the 3 Network then they tend to be incompatible with other SIM cards so it depends on your network.

There is usually software provided with a phone also whereby you can download all your data onto a computer so that it can be put onto a new SIM from there.

I would suggest that you pop into a Mobile phone store and just ask for details and they should be able to advise you.
